The planning, packing, budgeting, booking, airport transfers and “wait… do I need a visa?” moments usually happen first.

This is where I share the guides, tools and resources that make the getting-there part easier — so you can spend more time actually enjoying the trip.

DIGITAL TRAVEL RESOURCES

Prefer something you can actually use as you go?

I’ve created planners, guides and journals to help with the practical side of travel — from organizing a trip and keeping track of the details to budgeting, packing and documenting the journey.

Everything lives in the Mia Without Borders Shop.

Plan it. Pack it. Write it down before you forget it.

FREE TRAVEL RESOURCE

Practical travel, without the overwhelm.

Travel is the fun part. Figuring out how to make the trip actually happen is usually where things get a little more complicated.

There are flights to compare, places to stay, budgets to build, visas to check, bags to pack, and approximately twelve tabs open because you’re convinced one of them contains something important.

That’s what this part of Mia Without Borders is for.

I’ve pulled together the tips, tools and resources I use to make travel feel more manageable — from planning an itinerary and choosing what deserves space in your suitcase to staying safe, managing money and navigating life on the road.

If you’re planning your first solo trip, you’ll find practical advice on preparing, packing and feeling more confident before you go. If you’re travelling longer-term, there are resources for budgeting, banking, accommodation, transportation and creating income that can move with you.

And if you’re still at the dreaming stage, there are plenty of bucket-list ideas and experiences worth building a trip around.

Some of these lessons came from research.

Quite a few came from doing things the inconvenient way first.

Either way, the goal is the same: less time stressing over the logistics and more time actually experiencing the place you worked so hard to get to.
